About the Game
No Limit Holdem with .25/.50 blinds
When: The first Saturday of the month, 8pm-1am. Players can come and go as they please. There is no minimum time commitment.
Buy-in: $70 maximum. No minimum. Whatever size you choose, plan to bring a few buy-ins if you want to play all night.
The Players: people who enjoy a game of chance “incidental to a bonafide social relationship”. Plainly, we meet primarily to socialize, and secondarily to play poker. The game is invite only and seating may be limited. New players are welcome but please get permission to bring a friend, just to make sure there is room. Invites go out the week before and seats are reserved on a first-come basis. Games only run with a minimum of 6 confirmed players, go/ no go is announced by Saturday morning.
Designated Dealer: to keep the pace of the game moving and to make the game accessible to more people, one player is designated to deal hands and move action. Tips are not accepted and pots are not raked. Volunteers for designated dealer are welcome!
Drinks/ Food: Some light refreshments are provided but feel free to bring something you’d like to share or leave a couple bucks for the “cheese-tray fund”. Beer, liquor ect. is fine just please drive safe!
Game Rules: Have fun! Be fun! Help other people have fun! Crack jokes, tell stories, share your deepest darkest secrets… ok maybe stick to jokes and stories. Rules found here are generally followed, though allowances are made for new players and in general, intent will be honored over strict rules interpretation. By playing this game you agree to follow the rulings of the host.
